What Can I Expect

Go sky high with these flying lessons in Liverpool! We are offering vouchers for 60-minute flights in your choice of two or four seater Piper aircraft. You'll be taking off from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to soar over iconic Liverpudlian landmarks and the Mersey's gentle sweep out to sea and beyond.

This leading flight school is based out of its purpose-built Business Aviation Unit at the General and Business Aviation area of Liverpool's busy international airport. Surrounded by runways, control towers and a range of aeroplanes (from light aircraft to transatlantic jets), it's the perfect place to get your piloting aspirations off the ground.

Lessons are all taught on a one-to-one basis and the training is bespoke to you. This Liverpool based flying school wants you to have lots of time at the controls, so you’ll be flying for as much time as possible. You'll also learn about and assist with pre-flight checks, taxiing down the runway and the final approach.

As well as being a hands-on flying lesson, there's no denying the views of Liverpool are awesome. You'll take in sights such as Liverpool and Everton's football stadia, the Liver Building, Radio City and the impressive docks flanking the River Mersey. If you live locally, there's even the possibility of flying over your own house!

What's Included

• A 60-minute flying experience at the world famous Liverpool John Lennon Airport
• All lessons are conducted by a fully qualified pilot
• Flights will be taken in a 2-seater Piper Tomahawk or 4-seater Piper Warrior
• Lessons start with a pre-flight briefing and aircraft familiarisation
• The opportunity to take the controls of the aircraft after take off
• At the pilot's discretion you may fly over a favourite local landmark

• Spectators are welcome but will only be able to view the take off and landing
• Participants of 4 seater flights are allowed to bring an interested observer (min age 14) who can observe the lesson from the rear seat (at the discretion of the flight instructor and subject to weather conditions)  Maximum combined weight if bringing an interested observer is 24 stone
