Cotswold archery range school's motto is : 'Finding the archer from within' - and where better to do that than at the stunning Cotswolds location of Batsford Arboretum near Moreton in Marsh? With everything you need to try the Olympic sport of archery and plenty of hands-on practise, this Gloucestershire venue is the place to go.
The archery instructors pride themselves on their professional, informative and approachable method to teach potential archers to use the bow and arrow.
You will be shooting for an hour and a half, with the wooden three-piece recurve training bow. The archery targets are usually at 18 metre distance (juniors from 8yrs - 11yrs will start at 10 metres). As your accuracy improves, the target will be moved further away to keep you on your toes!
This is what makes and this archery experience in the pretty Cotswolds unique. Most archery experiences at other centres use the wooden recurve training bow throughout the session, at Moreton-in-Marsh you get the opportunity to use this type of bow using the shooting style of bare-bow, which require a certain technique and different way of handling.
We are offering vouchers a 90 minute sessions for one or two people and the minimum age is 8 years old. Buy your Cotswold archery experience vouchers online now.
