What Can I Expect

Fully-immersive flying in a 737 simulator in Warwickshire near Wolvey! We are offering 30, 60 and 90-minute flights in this fixed-based simulator, so that you can have a taste of being captain of a Boeing 737-800.

This very discrete simulator centre is on a private estate deep in the countryside on the border of Warwickshire and Leicestershire, just south of Hinckley. Access is really easy from Birmingham, Nuneaton, Coventry and Leicester, so if you're in the Midlands and you've always fancied piloting a Boeing 737, this is the place to be.

The operations team is made up of fully-qualified pilots, many of whom are currently working as commercial pilots. They love their jobs so much that even when not flying for real, they're clocking up the hours on the sim and they love nothing more than being first officer to assist you as captain, so you can discover the wonderful world of big airliner flying.

The simulator is a high-fidelity, professional training device, boasting a 240-degree visual system. The full cockpit set-up has full audio and motion cues, so you'll hear and feel the aircraft as you accelerate for take-off, hit turbulence and so on. And believe us, it's all very realistic indeed.

On the shorter 30-minute experiences, your 737 will be lined up and ready for take off. That means you can get straight into the job of piloting this big commercial jet in the skies. There'll be time to handle a take off, fly and then go for your approach and landing.

The longer 60 and 90-minute flights give you even more flexibility. You can fly a full sector from engine start up to shutdown. And real, live weather conditions could be added in to add an extra dimension to your experience wherever your flight path takes you! 30 Minute Session

• During that time you will get the chance to take-off, get the feel for flying the aircraft and try your hand at landing the Boeing 737-800 

60 & 90 Minute Sessions

• Opportunity to try a sector flight. This is a short flight from one airport to another where you will work with your instructor in a real multi crew environment
• Or try your hand landing at some of the more challenging airports around the world, such as the mountain approach into Innsbruck

When Is It Available

• Mondays to Fridays throughout the year
• Sessions are available between 09:00-17:00
• Due to popularity it is recommended you book well in advance to avoid disappointment

Suitable For

• Minimum age 10
• Under 18s must be accompanied by a spectating adult
• Maximum weight 18 stone
• Maximum height 6ft 3ins
• Good, general mobility is required for this experience
• Not suitable for those who suffer from claustrophobia, motion sickness, epilepsy, those with restricted mobility or with a nervous disposition

Spectators

• One guest can accompany you at no extra charge
• Up to 3 additional guests may also accompany you in the Boeing 737 at a cost of £10 per guest, payable when booking your date
