What Can I Expect

Welcome aboard the Airbus simulator experience out of Fareham in Hampshire! This is your chance to virtually fly an A320 at Whiteley to pretty much anywhere in the world, in any weather conditions you fancy.

We are offering a full range of vouchers for one, two, three or four-hour simulator sessions at this centre in Fareham. What's more, if you book two hours or more, you can share your sim time with friends and family.

The setup is really cool. The fixed-base simulator is a full-sized, 1:1 scale replica of an A320 cockpit. It replicates the looks, feel and functionality of the world's best-selling short and medium-haul commercial airliner. No doubt you've flown on one for real as a passenger, now it's your turn to fly one!

The 220-degree High Definition, wraparound screens are superbly realistic. The immersive sound system really takes you into the world of being captain of an A320, all without leaving the ground or even moving.

We have a full roster of session times for you. A one-hour solo experience will see you executing up to four take offs and landings (the best part of the whole sim thing for many of you!). The two, three and four sessions in this A320 sim give you more time to fly full sectors. That means from push back at the departure gate, to arriving on stand at your arrival airport, you will be in charge!

Three Hour Session

• Multiple take-offs and landings
• Fly a short commercial route
• Experience a full start up procedure
• Opportunity to practice general handling of the aircraft 
• Experience in-flight emergencies and challenging weather
• Sessions can be shared by up to three people if you wish

Four Hour Session

• Multiple take-offs and landings
• Fly a medium commercial route, gate to gate
• Experience a full start up procedure
• Opportunity to practice general handling of the aircraft 
• Experience in-flight emergencies and challenging weather
• Sessions can be shared by up to four people if you wish

When Is It Available

• Weekdays and weekends throughout the year
• Morning, afternoon and evening sessions are generally available
• Dates and session times are subject to availability

Suitable For

• Minimum age 12
• Under 18s must be accompanied by a spectating or participating adult
• The simulator and briefing room is accessible by wheelchair and for those with limited mobility

Spectators

• Depending on the session booked, you can bring up to 3 guests with you to watch or share the experience

Anything Else

• This is a fixed base simulator and remains stationary throughout the session
• The simulator centre is next to Whiteley shopping centre which has numerous restaurants and shops
