Your aerial mission, should you choose to accept it, is an aerobatics experience in Great Yarmouth! Smooth and level flight is all well and good, but if you're sitting in a CAP10 you'll be itching to get those G forces going, so bring it on. This is aerobatics CAP10 style!
There's a lot of history around North Denes airfield, known locally as Yarmouth Heliport. But you're not here to exchange aviation anecdotes, you're here to experience what it's like being in a CAP10 doing aerobatics - and learn how to bust some of the moves yourself.
Indeed, this nippy little aircraft is hailed as the 'finest aerobatic trainer ever built' by this operator's boss Chris Thompson. And you won't have to just take his word for it. Within minutes of getting airborne, you'll be invited to take the controls to learn all about the three golden moves: loops, rolls and stall turns. Get those manoeuvres cracked and you're well on the way to becoming an aerobatics supremo in the sky above Great Yarmouth!
And whilst you might be starting off as a novice, your fellow crew member is most definitely not. All are highly qualified and experienced, with many hours flying impressive aerial displays at air shows. So whilst you're sitting somewhat nervously in the cockpit, these guys have that aura of absolute cool-as-a-cucumber calm.
Before your 25 minute aerobatics experience over Great Yarmouth comes to an end, there's usually time for one more little aviation treat - an aerobatic sequence. This is a series of linked tricks. This can be as elegant and fluid as you like, or as wild as your stomach can cope with! Cue the Cubans, Hesitation Rolls and Avalanches in the air!
