What Can I Expect

Drifting in the legendary Nissan 350Z and a beefed up BMW 330 too! All sessions take place on a specially created drift circuit at Bovingdon, which boasts a perfect blend of long, sweeping corners and technical flick entries too. 

The 350z was Takaszhi's, the Japanese DK's (that's Drift King) weapon of choice in Fast & Furious's Tokyo Drift. The BMW is a serious drift contender too. With its custom-mapped turbo setup, you'll be able to get this big Beemer sliding at angles you'd think are impossible.

Get it wrong and you'll be stalling and spinning all over the shop, but that's why you're at Bovingdon. With track-prepped 350Zs and 330s, and equally well-prepared instructors, you're in excellent hands. On Each one of these experiences you will soon learn the basics. If you go for more seat time, you'll learn more. It's as simple as that.

All packages feature three sighting laps with an instructor at the helm, so you can see the lay of the land. Then there's a high-speed passenger ride too, where your drifting guru will be taking you and the BMW Drift Taxi on a high-speed lap made up of entirely linked drift turns. Impressive.

The essence of these sessions is sharing the drift buzz with you. The first time you get the hang of power-overs you'll be whooping for joy. As you start to feel how both cars ride, you can balance the throttle through the slide and begin to nail those flicks. It takes concentration, but it's an amazing feeling, totally exhilarating and pretty addictive too.

If you go for the maximum laps package you can really nail this drifting game. You'll come in at ever more extreme angles and faster speeds, with the ultimate aim of linking several bends together on full opposite lock, to pull off a classic and very styled out drift run.

What's Included

• A drifting experience driving a Nissan 350z and BMW330
• Experience times include arrival time, driver briefing, sighting laps and drive time
• 30-minute introductory briefing covering drift lines, throttle/braking technique and track day safety etiquette
• Run the wall and drift around the ultimate street-derived course featuring a series of Japanese Zen Garden Roundabouts
• Drive times vary dependent on the participant

When Is It Available

• Selected weekdays throughout the year
• Upgrades to include Saturday mornings are available (payable direct when booking your date)
• Experiences are subject to availability and weather conditions

Suitable For

• Height restrictions: minimum 5ft, maximum 6ft 3ins
• Weight restrictions: maximum 18 stone
• A full manual driving licence is required
• Participants must be physically fit with no serious health conditions

Spectators

• Friends and family are welcome to come along and can participate in passenger hot laps  or driving laps,  for an additional charge payable on the day

Anything Else

• Flat soled shoes must be worn
• Glasses must be worn if needed
• Lunch is not included - refreshments and snacks are available to purchase onsite
• Drivers will need to sign a form accepting risk and vehicle damage liability of up to  £10,000+VAT.  Alternatively damage liability reduction is available to purchase on the day starting from £27
