What Can I Expect

What a fab Ferrari driving day this promises to be! There's something about each and every Ferrari ever produced that just captures the hearts of motoring fans around the world. And these circuit experiences certainly celebrate that, with a veritable fleet of Ferraris lined up for you to drive.

The production facility in Maranello is home to all Ferraris. Every one of the Italian stallions lined up for these driving sessions has been hand-built at this factory in Italy. They are all incredible cars. From the classic targa-top cruiser-style of the 355, to the very slick 458 and with every other Ferrari model in between. One thing connects all - pure style.

There's no doubting heads will turn when you're driving a Ferrari. That distinctive symphony from the exhaust, the roar of the engine and of course, if it's red it's even better. You'll be pleased to hear the majority of the models on these drive sessions are indeed Rosso, just like a good Italian wine!

As well as looking very cool, Ferraris are something of a behemoth to drive. The older models are actually quite heavy on the clutch, but since the introduction of paddleshift and double-clutch technology, you'll feel like an F1 star even if you're sticking to 30mph.

Thankfully, in a world of bland mini SUVs, the Ferraris remain reassuringly rear wheel drive. On the track, that means a whole lot of oversteer, which equals a whole load of fun. Oversteer is basically when the rear end comes out and that often happens if you come into a sharp corner too hot. Skilled drivers can control the over and understeer to do fancy moves like drifts, novices will end up spinning out.

On these drives there'll be an instructor beside you in the Ferrari, to make sure you get the best out of your time behind that fine Italian leather-clad steering wheel. You might take it easy and cruise or you may get the tyres screeching. In all cases you'll be encouraged to open that longitudinal rear mid engine on the straights and hear that inimitable Ferrari purr!

Ferrari driving days are available at a circuit near you, with a fleet of Ferraris ready and waiting for you to go for a three or six-mile spin.

• Choose a weekday only voucher or to include weekend availability (where available) opt for the anytime voucher
• Experiences operate throughout the year (unless stated)
• Dates and session times are subject to availability at your chosen location

Suitable For

• Minimum age 17
• Participants must hold a full, valid driving licence
• Minimum height 5ft
• Maximum height 6ft 6ins
• Maximum weight 19 stone
• Drivers must be able bodied and any medical conditions that may affect driving ability must be disclosed at the time of booking

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to come and watch at all venues for no additional charge
• Disabled access may vary depending on location
• Children must be supervised at all times
• Pets are not permitted at any circuit
• Toilets, viewing areas and refreshments are available at all venues

Anything Else

• Optional extras are offered at the point of booking your date including collision damage waivers and flexible cancellation policies. They are not mandatory, but the waiver is advised due to the high £5000 excess on the vehicles
• Specific vehicle availability may be subject to change due to mechanical or operational factors
• In cases of extreme weather i.e snow, fog or ice experiences may be re-scheduled for safety reasons
• Comfortable shoes with thin soles are recommended
