Here's a great venue in the north of England for axe throwing! We are offering sessions to hurl axes into wooden targets at this centre near Eccles. Are you ready to learn how to lob axes into great chunks of wood?
Picking up an axe and throwing it at a tree trunk target isn't difficult. The tricky bit is getting to spin correctly in the air and then land with a thud, fair and square into the wood, without the axe unceremoniously dropping out onto the ground. These sessions at one of our favourite locations in the north of England will show you how it's done.
The instructors will take time to explain how you pick up and handle an axe, then show you how to throw it accurately at the targets. Contrary to what you might think, it's not all about having muscles like a warrior. A lot of it is skill, as you need to know how to stand and how to release the axe.
And believe us, the first time you get your axe wedged into the target you'll feel triumphant. After that, it's all about repeating the performance, to prove to your axe thrower buddies that it wasn't a fluke!
