Departing from the historic Westonzoyland Airfield, which dates back to the early 1920s, you'll be surrounded by the beauty of Somerset's coastline, countryside, and renowned national parks. This airfield has a rich history, having once served as both RAF and USAAF bases during the Second World War, and now welcomes a vibrant microlighting community.
Your pilot for this incredible experience is Andy Buchan, a passionate and highly qualified instructor with vast experience in light aviation. His enthusiasm is infectious, and under his guidance, you will not only enjoy the sights but also take the reigns and pilot a microlight yourself!
During your 60-minute flight, you'll glide over breathtaking landscapes, including the mystical Glastonbury and its famous Tor, the picturesque Bridgewater Bay, the Bristol Channel, and the majestic Mendip and Quantock Hills. When Is It Available
- Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year (with some limited availability during the winter), subject to availability
- Bookings can be made up to 2 weeks in advance
- All flights are weather dependent but don't worry if your flight is cancelled you can rebook for a convenient time
- You must call the provider at 8.15am on the morning of your flight to check that you flight is going ahead
- If you are travelling more than an hour to the venue please bear in mind that flights may be cancelled at short notice

- Flexi wing voucher digital images can be purchased on the day of your flight for an additional £25
- The camera takes an image every five seconds which is downloaded to an SD card (£5 refunded when the SD card is returned)
