Our long-established helicopter training school boasts a friendly and knowledgeable team dedicated to your learning experience. As you climb aboard our two-seater Robinson or the impressive turbine Bell Jetranger, you’ll receive hands-on training from seasoned instructors who share your passion for aviation.

What's Included
- Trial helicopter lesson out of Shobdon Aerodrome
- Choose between a 2 seater Robinson R22 or 5 seater Bell 206 Jetranger helicopter
- 30 minute one to one pre-flight briefing on basic helicopter procedures and use of the aircraft control
- Choose from a 30 or 60 minute flight duration
- Flight times include start up to shut down time
- Once airborne you will learn level flight, turns, power changes as well as hovering

Suitable For
- Minimum age is 14 years
- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Maximum weight for flights in the 2 seater R22 is 17 stone
- There are no weight restrictions for the 5 seater Jetranger
- All guests will need to provide photographic ID in order to fly
- Participants of the five seater experiences are allowed to bring 2-3 interested observers (min age 14) who can observe the lesson from the rear seat (at the discretion of the flight instructor and subject to weather conditions and weight restrictions)
