Suitable For
- Minimum age is 14
- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Maximum height is 6ft 4 ins
- R22: Maximum weight 16 stone
- R44: Maximum weight 18 stone
Spectators
- Participants of the four seater R44 lesson can bring one interested observer to accompany them for their flight
- Spectators are welcome to come and watch the action from the clubhouse or lawn which provide great views across the airfield
Anything Else
- The airport has a restaurant serving hot and cold food and beverages
- There is an aviation museum at the airfield
- Flights can be counted towards the 45 hours required to obtain a licence to fly a helicopter
- You should call the club before travelling to check that weather conditions are suitable
