When you join us for a Tiger Moth flight, get ready to embrace the thrill of aviation high above the beautiful landscapes of Northumberland. You’ll have the choice of 30 or 45-minute flights, flying in a meticulously preserved G-EMSY or G-ANEZ, two genuine vintage aircraft that will transport you back in time.
As you ascend into the open skies, you’ll be greeted with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, creating a picturesque backdrop for your aerial adventure. Our experienced pilots will ensure you feel right at home, providing insights about the aircraft and its rich history, while also making sure you feel comfortable and safe at all times. Soak in the sights, experience the wind in your hair, and maybe even take the controls for a truly immersive experience!
What's Included

- Weekdays and weekend throughout the year
- Flight experiences are subject to availability and weather conditions
- If weather conditions are unsuitable your flight will be rescheduled
Please note: Flights are fully booked for the remainder of the 2024 season. Bookings will resume in April 2025.
Suitable For
- Minimum age 14
- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Maximum weight 18 stone
- Participants must sign a declaration prior to flying
Spectators
- Friends and family are welcome to watch your take off and landing from the viewing area
- The airfield is dog friendly, but all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times
Anything Else
- Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn
- Light snacks and refreshments can be purchased from the onsite café (open Thursday to Sunday) or pre-book a delicious afternoon tea
