Kick off your adventure with our fantastic winch tow taster session, designed to give you a taste of what soaring feels like. Feeling more adventurous? Opt for the breathtaking aerotow experience, where you can reach altitudes of 2,000 ft, 3,000 ft, or even a full mile high! The sensation of gliding through the clouds and taking in the panoramic views is simply unforgettable.
Our experienced instructors are here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you not only enjoy the thrill but also learn the basics of gliding. It's an excellent way to connect with nature and unwind as you float above the rolling hills and charming countryside of Essex. Get ready for a day full of laughter, excitement, and new discoveries!
What's Included
- Experience gliding in a 2-seater glider accompanied by a qualified pilot
- All flights are preceded by a briefing and explanation of glider flight
- The effects of the controls will be demonstrated to you during your flight
- Opportunity to take the control of the glider
Single Winch Launch
- A single winch launch 4-5 minutes. A great introduction!
Bronze Glider Flight
- 2000ft aerotow with up to 15 minutes flight time
Silver Glider Flight
- 3000ft aerotow with approximately 20 - 25 minutes flying time
Gold Glider Flight
- A mile high flight (5280ft aerotow) providing around 40 - 50 minutes of flight time
When Is It Available
- Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays between April and November
- All dates and session times are subject to availability and weather conditions
- Participants should contact the flying school on the morning of their flight to check weather conditions are suitable
