Over the next three hours, you'll not only learn about these majestic creatures but also have the chance to engage directly with them. From taking a leisurely walk with your chosen raptor to experiencing the joy of flight, every moment is crafted to give you an authentic taste of falconry. You'll discover fascinating facts about each bird’s behavior, unique skills, and hunting techniques. Plus, with a maximum group size of just four, you can look forward to plenty of personal interaction and support throughout the experience. With the wind in your hair and these magnificent birds soaring above, this is an unforgettable way to connect with nature and learn about the art of falconry.
What's Included
- Meet and fly birds of prey
- Hosted by Kevin the falconer, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience
- Introduction to a variety of birds including Hawks, Falcons, Owls and a Chilean Blue Eagle
- You'll be very much hands on with the birds
- Carry a bird of your choice on your gloved fist for a walk
- Plenty of photo opportunities in the beautiful surrounding countryside
- A short refreshment break with tea, coffee, biscuits and homemade scones and jam (Warm mince pies in November - December by the fire)
- Enjoy flying a selection of birds to your gloved fist in the field
- Please allow 3 hours on site
- You will be one of 4 people in a group, giving you a very personal and friendly experience
