Go waterskiing out of Newhaven Marina! These sessions behind the boat are suitable for all levels of waterskier, from absolute beginners to those who already know how to waterski.
Waterskiing is as exhilarating and fabulous as it sounds. With your feet in one or two waterskis, you will be towed along the water by a motorboat, as you hold onto the handle and line, which is attached to the rear of the boat.
As you might imagine, there's a technique to being able to get up and stand on your skis on the water. If you're a newbie to all this, there'll be an on-shore briefing showing you how it's done on dry land, before you go out on the water.
Setting off from West Quay at Newhaven Marina, you'll head out to the sea. Now we have point out that waterskiing lessons are scheduled for the mornings, as that's when the waters are calmer, making it much more fun for waterskiers.
And believe us, getting up and out there early is well worth it. A glistening calm sea, quiet shoreline and fewer vessels in the water means that you get to rip it up on your waterskis out of Newhaven.
You'll have a 15-minute session behind the boat. Coaching during your turn is included, as is all the gear you need. So just bring your swimmers, a towel and change of clothes and the desire to conquer waterskiing in Newhaven!
