From the bee basics of how colonies work, their life cycle and how you harvest honey, to a day in the life of a beekeeper, you'll be shown it all on these fun and interactive beekeeper experience days.
The team looks after over 400 hives around the Sheffield and Rotherham area, all producing delicious honey and beeswax that are transformed into award-winning products. From beard wax and hand-dipped candles, to raw natural honeycomb and traditional jars of lovely, runny honey, it really is food for the body and soul!
As you can imagine, Dave and family love their bees here in this corner of the countryside near Sheffield. A very active breeding program of very hardy and resilient bees is in place to ensure the pollination and population continues to grow - because, quite simply, bees are great for the environment.
