What Can I Expect

Welcome Christmas, bring your cheer on the Grinchmas afternoon tea bus tour! A festive sightseeing tour around Central London on a vintage Routemaster double decker bus, with Grinch-themed onboard entertainment and food.

You’ll board the Grinch bus from London’s Victoria Coach Station. Lasting around one and a half hours, you’ll be bussed through central London in vintage double decker style, going right past all the big-hitter sights, such as the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Hyde Park and lots more.

Whilst you’re seeing those sights, there’s some Grinching going on. Watch out for a prankster onboard who will be trying to keep you entertained (or should that be distracted?) during your bus journey.

Even the afternoon tea has been Grinched. Max’s favourite quiche, ‘Sweet as Cindy Lou Who’ chocolate tart and mini Mount Crumpit choux delights all feature. And as the Grinch himself would say, ‘It’s because I’m green isn’t it!’...but don’t let that put you off the green scones!

These limited edition Grinchmas afternoon tea bus tours run over the festive period from November to the end of January only. There are several departures per day and, if you want to make your Grinch bus tour extra Christmassy, book on for the 17:30 trip, as you'll get to see the Christmas lights sparkling on Regents Street as night falls.

We are offering vouchers for child and adult tickets for the Grinchmas bus tour, which is most enjoyable for all ages from five years old. Hop on the Grinchtastic vintage double decker bus and enjoy the sights, the Grinch afternoon tea and entertainment too!

What's Included

• Experience a one-of-a-kind Grinchmas afternoon tea on a vintage 1960s Routemaster bus tour around London
• Enjoy some of the best views of Central London
• View landmarks such as Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Hyde Park, Nelson's Column, Downing Street, Green Park, Piccadilly Circus and other iconic sites
• Your afternoon tea onboard will include a selection of Grinch-inspired finger sandwiches, savoury and sweet treats (please see Menu section)
• Unlimited hot drinks such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate will accompany your afternoon tea
• An onboard entertainer to bring Grinchmas into full swing
• Tours last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes depending on traffic

When Is It Available

• The tour runs daily between 11th November 2024 and 31st January 2025
• Dates are subject to availability, some dates and times may not be available due to special events taking place in London
• Closure Dates: 24th December after 14:30, 25th, 26th and 31st December and 1st and 2nd January
• Weekends are available for a supplement payable direct when making your booking
• During early November and early January tours running at 17:30 will will take a route along Regent Street to view the Christmas lights
• Bus tour times: 12:30, 15:00 & 17:30

• Under 15s must be accompanied by a participating adult
• Child tickets valid for 5-11 years old
• Suitable for wheelchair access, if this is required please request this in advance when making your booking
• If you require any special assistance with access or wish to bring a guide dog please make this known at the time of booking your experience

• The experience provider is unable to cater for: nut-free, peanut-free, combination of dairy & gluten-free, combination of vegan & gluten-free and Coeliacs. Gluten-free menu may contain traces
• A range of additional menus can be catered for to accomodate tradition, vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten-free. If you have any allergies or require an alternative menu please confirm this at the time of making your booking
• Vegan and gluten free teas are subject to a £3 supplement payable direct
• Please specify requirements upon reservation. All allergies must be emailed and confirmed by management
• Vouchers are not valid for VIP tables but these can be booked when paying a supplement direct at at the time of making your booking
