Celebrated horticulturalist Tom Stuart-Smith was charged with the overall design at Bridgewater and his inspired plans included restoring the Walled Garden, one of the largest in Europe, creating a series of garden rooms including the stunning Paradise Garden, Kitchen Garden and restful Wellbeing Garden.
The Bridgewater Canal borders the edge of the gardens and new installations such as the Chinese Streamside Garden, linking the historic Ellesmere Lake to newly created Moon Bridgewater and featuring an authentic music pavilion, are all as blissful and peaceful as they sound!
