What Can I Expect

Good afternoon everyone and welcome aboard the Paddington Afternoon Tea Bus Tour! A wonderful trip on a vintage double decker bus around London, with Paddington Bear-themed sweet and savoury treats served at your table.

Paddington, of course, was from Darkest Peru. But ever since arriving at Paddington Station and being adopted by the Brown family, his home has been Windsor Gardens in London. This very polite little bear knows the capital well. He also knows how to make a mean Marmalade Sandwich…

So when you're on the Paddington Bear bus, make sure you use the integrated tablet on your table to hear Paddington and housekeeper Mrs Bird narrate your journey around the fabulous landmarks of London, from St Paul's Cathedral to Piccadilly Circus.

And the food! It's utterly delicious and we're sure Paddington and the whole Brown family would love it. The bear paw print chocolate-topped cupcakes are too cute. The scones are as fluffy and delicious as Mrs Bird's and the cakes are quintessentially British.

But we must give a special mention to one particular sandwich on the platter - the Best Marmalade Sandwich Ever. Certainly as good as the ones Knuckles made in prison (remember that from the Paddington 2 film?) and definitely worthy of being popped under any bear's hat!

We are offering adult tickets (12 years or more) and child tickets for 5 to 11 year olds to hop on the Paddington Afternoon Tea Bus for a tour around London with all those lovely teatime treats. As Paddington himself says : ‘This is going to be a very rare sort of bus tour. I do hope you'll enjoy it'.

What's Included

• Enjoy a Paddington Bear afternoon tea on a vintage 1960s Routemaster bus tour around London
• As you enjoy your Paddington Bear themed afternoon tea you'll take in the sights of Central London and see famous landmarks such as Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Hyde Park, Nelson's Column, Tower Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral, Borough Market, Green Park, Piccadilly Circus and more
• Your table has a special built in tablet which provides you with a Paddington guided animation tour of London
• Your afternoon tea onboard will include a selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, pastries and scones with clotted cream and jam
• Hot drinks such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate will accompany your afternoon tea
• Tours last approximately 1 hour 45 minutes depending on traffic

When Is It Available

• Wednesday to Sunday throughout the year, subject to availability
• Tour times: 13:45 & 17:30
• From 9th November to 31st December tours running at 17:30 will take a route along Regent Street to view the Christmas lights

Suitable For

• Minimum age 5
• Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult
• Child tickets valid for 5-11 years old
• Due to the design of the Routemaster Bus it has not been possible to make the entrance wheelchair accessible however a folded wheelchair can be stored on the bus
• If you require any special assistance with access or wish to bring a guide dog please make this known at the time of booking your experience
