What Can I Expect

Fancy a go at the Dakar Rally jump experience? Take an extreme adventure sports vehicle for a spin around the London Motor Circuit and see if you can get some air time when you hit the jump!

The Yamaha YXZ1000R is an amazing vehicle. It’s somewhere between a quad, a buggy and a car and races in the T3 Challenger class in the World Rally-Raid Championships, which includes the famous Dakar Rally (the one where you go racing and jumping over dunes in the desert!).

Being super-light (a mere 685kgs), the 120bhp, 999cc Yamaha packs a real punch. Much bigger than your usual buggy, it even has doors, but make no mistake, this adventure vehicle moves like nothing we’ve ever seen and has, justifiably, taken the rally-raid world by storm.

You will be driving the YXZ on the rally stage, which combines tarmac and loose gravel sections. The highlight of these Dakar Rally experiences is the jump. You get eight attempts at it, building up the speed each time.

It’s just like those rally moments you love, when the car comes over the crest of the road or the top of the dune and then launches into the air. Can you handle the air time? Will you clear the gap to land on the ramp?

It's thrilling stuff on this Dakar Rally jump experience - and if you want to add some more adrenaline into the mix, go for the extended Jump & Dirt experience, which gives you 15 laps on the dirt rally stage too!

What's Included

• Enjoy the thrill of a Dakar Rally Jump experience in a Dakar prepared Yamaha
• Two vouchers options to choose from
• Learn how to jump the world's biggest rally jump called 'The Launch Pad'
• 30 minute introduction which covers racing lines, throttle/braking techniques and track safety
• 4 x sighting laps which includes 1 high speed passenger lap in a track prepared sports car
• 8 x laps around the Rally X stage incorporating circuit driving and a loose gravel section
• 8 x attempts at jumping 'The Launch Pad' 
• Choose the Dakar Jump & Dirt Experience to include 15 x laps sliding across the dirt rally stage (made up of 2 x warm up laps and 13 x fast laps)

When Is It Available

• Dakar Jump experiences run Monday to Saturday* throughout the year
• Dakar Jump & Dirt experiences run Monday to Saturday* from May to August
• Dates are subject to availability
• *Please note that there is a surcharge of £45 payable direct when making your booking for a Saturday

Suitable For

• Minimum age 17
• Maximum age 80
• Maximum weight 16 stone
• Maximum height 6 foot 2 inches
• A full valid manual driving licence is required
• Participants must be physically fit with no serious health concerns

Anything Else

• Drivers will need to sign a form accepting risk and vehicle damage liability of up to £10,000+VAT.  Alternatively damage liability reduction is available to purchase on the day starting from £27
• All participants must wear a helmet which will be provided or you can bring your own
• A balaclava must be worn under the helmet for hygiene reasons, if you do not have your own then you can purchase on on the day for a supplement
• If you wear glasses, these must be worn
• Please wear flat soled shoes
